NOTICE OF FEE INCREASE
Effective January 1, 2012
As a result of the passage of Assembly Bill 1053, on September 8, 2011, a base fee increase of $2.00 will be implemented for certified copies of birth and death certificates. The purpose of the base fee increase is to more accurately reflect the cost of services rendered. The bill requires the base fee to be adjusted annually pursuant to a specified method in Health and Safety Code Sections 100425 and 100430.
